ZipLine with Colostomy

Maui, February 2012
Zipline excursions are the latest rage in fun and exciting adventures.
A colostomy is no excuse for avoiding
the exhilarating experience of a Zipline.

I arrived early and checked the harness.  There would be no rubbing on the stoma or flange, so my colostomy was not a factor.

The adventure began with a stroll across a suspension bridge to the first tree platform.  Then we soared through a towering tropical forest, while catching grand ocean and canyon views all along the ride.  We zipped through the beautiful tree canopy and crossed four aerial canopy bridges.

It’s a rush. It’s exhilarating.

Yes we can.  Ostomates can ZipLine.
